AHHH, it finally came through. The impossible visa to have a working holiday in Australia actually came through.
It was quite a process, including some paperwork and some serious medical checkups at a far away clinic in Chiang Mai.
I've managed to convince a nice Australian family in Sydney to take me in and let me be an AuPair starting in late April of this year. Assuming all goes well, I'll be home just in time for Christmas at the end of the year.
Very very excited. More details to come at another time.

Dude! I flipping loved Sydney. You will have an awesome time there. Make sure to hit up the beach as much as possible.
